Dream it.

It all begins with an idea. After many years of providing inspection services to the oil and gas industry the founder of FlySpec, Adrian Potter decided to take inspection to the air. Drawing on previous experience in welding inspection, coating inspection and NDT practices, combined with receiving the required permission from the CAA to operate drones commercially FlySpec became a reality.

Fly it.

The advantages of utilising a drone for inspection soon became obvious. Not only can they get a great new perspective but they can access places that previously would have required rope access or scaffolding.

This ability for easy access with reduced risk for personnel means that data acquisition times and the costs involved are dramatically reduced.

Data sets provided are unique to drones, very often the only way to get the same data would have been using a helicopter which may not be possible or feasible.
